What these terms cover

missionpeakhvac.com is an informational and scheduling website operated by Mission Peak HVAC, a heating, ventilation, and air conditioning service business based in Fremont, California. The site is provided to help Fremont-area homeowners learn about HVAC services, understand system decision frameworks, and book service appointments.

By using this website or scheduling a service appointment through it, you agree to these terms. If you do not agree, please do not use the site. These terms apply to the website only; the terms governing the actual performance of HVAC work are set out in a separate work authorization document signed on-site before work begins.

Written estimates

Estimates produced by Mission Peak HVAC following a diagnostic visit are valid for 30 days from the date of issue. An estimate is a written statement of scope, parts, and labor; it is not a binding commitment to perform work. Work is authorized only when you sign the separate work authorization form on-site.

Estimates are based on the system condition observed at the time of the diagnostic. If additional scope is discovered during the work (for example, secondary duct damage uncovered during a duct cleaning job), the technician will pause, document the additional scope in writing, and obtain your signature before proceeding. No additional work will be performed without documented authorization.

Prices and parts availability may change between the estimate date and the date work is authorized. If a significant price change affects your estimate before authorization, we will notify you and issue a revised estimate for your review.

Service work authorization

All HVAC installation, repair, and maintenance work performed by Mission Peak HVAC is subject to a work authorization agreement signed by the customer on-site. That agreement is the binding contract for the specific job and takes precedence over general website content in the event of any conflict.

Information on this website about service scope, process, and timing is provided for general guidance. Individual job specifications depend on your system type, building access, local permit requirements, and parts availability at the time of scheduling.

Limitation of liability

Mission Peak HVAC is not responsible for the performance, failure, or damage caused by HVAC equipment that we did not supply, install, or commission. If you request service on a system that was installed by another contractor, our liability is limited to the specific work performed during your service appointment and documented in the work order.

The content on missionpeakhvac.com is provided for informational purposes. While we make reasonable efforts to keep information accurate, HVAC system recommendations depend on individual system conditions that cannot be assessed remotely. Do not rely on website content as a substitute for an on-site diagnostic assessment.

To the maximum extent permitted by California law, Mission Peak HVAC's liability for any claim arising from the use of this website is limited to the amount you paid for the service appointment that gave rise to the claim.

Warranty terms

Equipment installed by Mission Peak HVAC carries the manufacturer's warranty applicable to that product. Manufacturer warranty terms, duration, and registration requirements are stated on the product documentation and on your work order. Mission Peak HVAC provides manufacturer warranty pass-through only — we do not extend or modify manufacturer terms.

Labor warranty terms for work performed by Mission Peak HVAC are stated on each completed work order. The labor warranty covers defects in our installation workmanship for the period stated on that document. It does not cover system failures caused by pre-existing conditions unrelated to our work, homeowner modifications made after our visit, or normal equipment wear.

To make a warranty claim, call us at (650) 686-5290 and have your work order number ready. We will schedule a return visit within our posted hours at no additional charge for valid labor warranty claims.

Governing law and jurisdiction

These terms are governed by the laws of the State of California. Any dispute arising from the use of this website or from services performed by Mission Peak HVAC that cannot be resolved informally shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of Alameda County, California.

If any provision of these terms is found to be unenforceable, the remaining provisions continue in full force. Our failure to enforce any right or provision of these terms is not a waiver of that right or provision.

Web accessibility

Mission Peak HVAC is committed to making missionpeakhvac.com accessible and usable by people with disabilities. We reference the Web Content Accessibility Guidelines (WCAG) 2.1 Level AA as our accessibility standard and work to maintain conformance across the site's design and content.

If any feature on this site is inaccessible to you, please call (650) 686-5290 during posted hours and we will provide the information or assist you with booking by phone.

Changes to these terms

Mission Peak HVAC may update these terms from time to time to reflect changes in services, legal requirements, or business practices. The current version is always posted at missionpeakhvac.com/terms/ with the effective date shown above.

Continued use of this website after a terms update constitutes acceptance of the revised terms. If you have questions about any change, call us at (650) 686-5290 before your next service appointment.
